The Royal Queensland Show (affectionately known as 'EkkA') is Queenslands largest annual event.  With a heritage spanning over 136 years, 'EkkA' is held at Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds for ten days every August.  Every year it engenders immense community spirit and excitement across industry, school and community groups, neighbours, friends and family as they prepare their competition entries, practise their dance routines and performances and plan out their day at the EkkA.  EkkA 2012 will run from Thursday 9th August to Saturday 18 August 2012 and will be the 136th Anniversary of the first show.
